The ATS represents a group of new technologies which effectively extends the frequency range of traditional Oil and Gas seismic vibrators. Many of the demands for modern geophysical surveys require greater high frequency signal content. Larger and larger vibrators do not address this issue.
The ATS extends the traditional frequency output of the expected 50,000 to 60,000 pound output range. The design is similar to the 'minivib' product group, with a circular dome baseplate and piston mounted mass assembly.
Other design considerations include dynamic hydraulic flow optimization, reduced vibrator mechanical structures, and servo valve enhancement.

As with any measured vibrator spectrum, these results are ground dependent.
